Architecture Is a Conversation About Change
Good architecture makes the next important change safer, clearer, and less expensive.
Architecture is often described as structure, but its value appears over time. A boundary is useful when it localizes change. A platform is useful when it makes a recurring decision disappear. A standard is useful when it reduces coordination cost without blocking learning.
The practical test is simple: does the system make tomorrow's most likely change easier to reason about than today's?
